General Amp problem.

When I hook my amp up and turn it on, my car starts smoking out of the exhaust...really badly. It's a white smoke...almost like steam. But it's a ton of it, more when I accelerate. Someone said it was due to the amp being bad...bought a new Xplod...did the same thing.Anyone know the problem? I've stumped many experts with this.

But why would it only do it if the amp is powered? When its not I have no smoke what so ever. I mean none...

Dude ,The white smoke has nothing to do w/your amp you have water/coolant entering your combustion chamber, could be intake manifold, head gasket, cracked exhaust seat in the head, take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop for diagnosis and estimate ,Whatever you do ,,,,,DO NOT!! take your car to the so called 'experts' this should be a simple job to correctly diagnose and repair , try to shortcut on this job to save money buy having a 'buddie'will cost you a lot more in the long run , pay the money to have in repaired by a qualified tech, you will be glad you did, one more thing , be sure to check to make sure your cooling fan is operational....good luck Royal Trent Master auto tech [A.S.E.20 yrs]

white smoke= lean fuel, dark smoke= rich fuel. white smoke also could mean mean a blown head gasket allowing water to mix with the oil (very bad). Run it for a bit then take out and look at the oil filler pug. if the oil is frothy or bubbly and has the color of hot chocolate there is water in it. I won't go into how to diagnose the many issue it

answer to at least diagnose the issues
Just think about the cost question
Your on the internet talking or asking people

You also have no idea what is wrong,so no dealer or
shop would know what the end cost will be.
There are no set prices from one shop to the next,
