These original Roll-Up I Digitizers didn't use a power supply,all of the power came through the Com port connection. The Roll-Up II used a 9 volt center positive power adapter.

It's a flex wire connecting LCD with camcorder. got from the repair shop. did it by miself workes like new. it'very common in this kind of sony.
my westinghouse has the exact same problem....i have noticed it will catch sometimes when the screen changes from one picture to another that is totally different and one right after another......
try moving the monitors. it could be feedback signal. also try different leads or without switch. you will then be able to narrow down the problem to one component.
