Same exact problem on a mac
I have the same issue, installs fine on another computer that I have disabled Mcafee registry blocker on but can not get it to work on my laptop at all. Ready to take it back to Best Buy.

I have the same problem on my Windows XP computer. The flip software used to recognize my flip video, and then it suddenly started generating that error and said it didn't recognize it. I contacted flip support, and they were stumped. The flip works fine on my husband's computer running vista.
