I have had my phone for about 8 months now. It has not been dropped or suffered any water damage. The dot in the battery compartment is still white. However my phone will no longer ring when someone is calling me. It goes straight to my voicemail all the time. However I still have no problem receiving text messages and the camera sound is still there and the alarms work. So what is going on with my phone????

Well, the white to pink dot is a sign of water in the phone. It is a moisture indicator and the first thing the repair fols look for so they can deny any claims.
They second thing is you can get an external battery charger for the razor. They run about 5 dollars and allow you to charge the battery seperate from the phone. Razr V3 external battery charger
There is a small cable, inside the phone, near the hinge, that can come loose or unplugged. You should have this checked out by someone who can service it. For them it's a simple procedure of reinserting the cable fully.
sir it is because of slow interrupts... when typing text messages fastly it will happen... so better take it to local service station.. they will fix it.. thank you sir.
if u dropped the phone on the stairs probably the signal receiver cracked so u got nothing to do abou'it that's permanent damage because it can not be replacer.
I know you don't want to here this, so be kind with your rating, but the best solution is a new phone. The reason is this: no matter what you do, water is a conductor and the dried residue it leaves behind will also short things out. And water will get to places that you can't.
Did you drop your phone in water? or do you live in a humid area?
Your phone was exposed to moisture. That red dot is a moisture sensitive piece of tape that changes colors when it gets wet.
If your phone still works, but the battery won't charge when connected to a home charger, you might try charging it in your car. Its a different type of current and may work with a somewhat damaged battery.
If that fails to fix the problem you may need to get a new battery.

Advise. If this is your 3rd RAZR V3, you must encourage Cingular (Now is the new AT&T) to replace your whole unit with another model. A friend of mine exchange his phone 4 times, until Cingular replace it. Motorola had too many problems with RAZR phones and that's why they launch quickly the SLVR L7.
They still producing the RAZR, because users love the style and shape of the phone, but reality is that Motorola had several heavy issues with RAZR (Bluetooth, batt, microphone, etc.)
If you're paying for an insurance on your unit, encourage them to replace it.

It's possible that your sensor that connects to your screen has become dislodged. (if you're brave) check out the do-it-yourself repair guide: http://www.lovehopefaith.com/V3.files/V3-repair.pdf
