Printer problem I have been using this printer right along, HP Deskjet 3740 series, no problems. Now all of a sudden when I click print ...it wont do it. It says "document pending for administrator" I am the only one on this computer.what is up with that and how do I fix it?
I have the same problem. My HP Photosmart 6180 suddenly wouldn't print and said "pending admin" It had been working fine. I realized that if I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver that it would correct itself. However, after months of uninstalling and reinstalling that stopped fixing the problem too. I assumed, at that point, that it must be the wireless connection.
I just installed the driver for my husband's printer (not wireless) and the same thing is happening with this printer too. Is this Vista or is this the printers. I'm very frustrated and very confused. Someone please lend a hand!I have the same problem. My HP Photosmart 6180 suddenly wouldn't print and said "pending admin" It had been working fine. Hi if you lose any of your hp install disks you can google you product "HP deskjet 3740" usually the first hit on google is the right one, after clicking the link you need to choose which OS you are running (xp,vista,7, linux or apple). you are then redirected to the appropriate downloads page.
The user account should have access for the printer . If its an Home PC follow the below steps. Right Click My Computer and go to Manage Click on Local Users and Groups Click on Group and double click on Administrator Say Add and type in the user name and say OK You will see your Login in the member list. Try printing ..............It shall work
You have to go www.hp.com select your region and product then you have to choose OS and now you can printer's driver for free for life.
Your problem will solve.
You say it stopped working mid-print... possible paper jam? Ink cartridge not clicked in all the way? (they should all line up evenly across the tops). In control panel->printers and faxes, right click on Canoni960 and choose properties. In maintenance tab try to do nozzle check and print head alignment. In lower right corner is status monitor, click to see if any useful information in there.
in this case , what iLL do is to "REBOOT" , UNISTALL EVERYTHING that has to do with the HP printer , I mean everything ,after deleting all driver of printer , go to START , click SEARCH , and write " hp deskjet 3740" click search , if something shows , delete it , then install the drivers again ,
this is in case you havent found the solution for this particular issue , hope this helps , AJ
