Question about Dual XDMR-7700 CD Player

1 Answer

Bad face plate!

My unit goes crazy! Turns on and off! Switches between CD, Radio, and Aux... Changes Radio stations, Makes CD fast forward, rewind and skip... Only thing that works correctly on the head unit is the volume control... It usually takes a few trys to get the buttons to do what their suppose to do. But its impossible to use the player because it does random stuff.

It may be the flexible connector link connecting to the drop down faceplate.

How do I set the clock on my Panasonic SA-Ak270 mini stereo

The main unit is the SA-AK270. The entire mini-system is called the SC-AK270. The manual is available on the Panasonic support site: https://www.panasonic.com/au/support/manual-download/audio/hi-fi/sc-ak270.html . You do need to accept the Panasonic terms of use to download the manual. The check box is below the box with the Manual description and View link. The clock setting procedure is shown on page 14 (with the remote). The pictures of the remote control and main unit buttons are on pages 8-9 of the manual.

With the remote, press the Clock/Timer button until the Display is showing the time. Press Skip Back/Rewind or Skip Forward/Fast Forward within 8 seconds of pressing Clock/Timer to set the hour. Press Clock/Timer again and use the same Rewind/Fast Forward buttons to set the minutes. Note: the SC-AK270 uses a 24-hour clock.

You can also do this by starting with the Display button on the main unit. Then use the Skip Back/Rew and Skip Forward/Fast Forward buttons on either side of the Manual Eq button.

I hope this helps.

Hi I have a Panasonic SA-PM200 mini hifi how do tune the radio stations

Make sure that you have the source set to FM or AM and the correct sound quality mode selected. Then press the Search track (fast forward or fast reverse) buttons on the remote. (These two buttons have the << or >> symbols and are on either side of the Stop button on the original remote.) If you press and hold the button, the radio will scan the frequencies in that direct until the next station that can be tuned in. The Skip buttons ('<< or >>') only goes to preset stations. As far as I can tell, these buttons are not on the main unit.

The remote is listed as part N2QAYB000639 . A replacement remote is available at several online locations including amazon.co.uk . See https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-N2QAYB000639-Remote-Control-SCHC15EBK/dp/B00H988QAM . The manual is available online here: http://panasonic.ae/en/manuals/SC-PM200.pdf . The SC-PM200 is the model for the entire system; SA-PM200 is the main unit. See section 7 for the radio tuning information.

I hope this helps.

Turns on but will not play. Makes a loud sound like motor running.

The unit needs service work- something may be stuck.
How can anyone give you any info without a rand or model number?

I have a eur7711150 remote for a panasonic radio that was my dads.. i cant figure out how to change channels on the radio.. hate to sound so stupid but there doesnt seem to be a tuner or a seek button

The EUR7711150 remote works for several different Panasonic CD stereo systems. To switch between AM and FM, press the Tuner/Band button. (If you were in another mode, you'll need to press the Tuner/Band button once to get to the Tuner mode and then toggle if needed.) Then if you press Play Mode (above Repeat to the left of the number keys), you can toggle between Preset and Manual. In Preset, the rewind and fast forward buttons select between your preset stations. Alternatively, you can set the presets to numerical values and touch the appropriate number button. (Touch the >=10 button first to access Memories 10-15.) If you are on Manual, the rewind and fast forward buttons will let you move up and down between the frequencies. Pressing and holding Rewind or Fast Forward for a moment will let the radio scan to the next frequency in that direction with a signal.

The CD button enables the CD or MP3 disc player mode. AUX and Tape are for external audio devices and cassette tape mode, respectively.

These comments are based on using the remote with the Panasonic SA-PM19. Please add a comment with the specific model of your Panasonic radio if you need additional assistance.

I hope this helps.

Radio stations wont store once key is taken out

if the unit only looses radio station presets then there is a defect with the unit. if the unit looses all its memory, (clock, stations, settings) then there is an issues with your aux power. basically you have the main power connect properly so it turns on the unit while the cars is on but the aux power keeps those settings.

Hi! I got Sansui DA-T550 reciever which is a bundle with amplifier, FM, tape deck and separately connected automatic grammaphone. THe problem is with tape deck. When the whole unit is turned ON, the...

Hi Taff,
I had this problem too. In the end I opened up the box ( a real nightmare) found a "computer ribbon" style wire between the tape bits and the amp bits and disconnected it. I can't use the tape anymore, but it doesn't make any noise either. Like you (in your solution) I hate the way it switches to the radio when a record finishes. I have a CD player connected to the aux play jacks - when the aux button is pushed in, the radio is disconnected and when the CD finishes, you get silence not radio.

The dictaphone wont rewind or fast forward and makes a bleeping noise

Hi,
Does the tape move when you press rewind or fast forward.
If the tape moves for a few seconds then bleeps it sound like a sensor problem.
If it only bleeps when the rewind and fast forward are pressed and the play is ok it sounds like the actuator motor is faulty, this motor enables the rewind and fast forward.
Hope this helps.

My remote control cannot work on rewind, fast forward or comerical skip. The DVD screen display SET 1.

Hello, I had the same problem and after spending a few hours reading and trying things, I found a solution. Its very simple. Power on your unit (manually) and then on your remote control push and hold at the same time"enter" and the number "1" while pointing directly to your unit and this should solve the problem. Good luck.

Clock

Turn the system on and press the "Clock/Timer" button (located above the eject button for Deck 1). The clock will appear. To change the time, simply hold down either the < or > buttons (the ones you use to change radio stations and begin CD/tape playback). Press "Clock/Timer" again to lock in the time.
