a With the headset’s boom closed,
press and hold the Multifunction
Button E until the headset
indicator turns on (about
3seconds).
The headset indicator turns on.
b Release the button, then open the
headset boom.
The headset indicator remains on.
2. Perform a device discovery from
the phone.
3.select motorola hs850 and click pair
4 When prompted by the phone, enter
the passkey 0000 and confirm to pair
the headset with the phone.
The device ID is now stored in the
phone’s memory.
Pairing is successful when the
headset indicator flashes 10 times
rapidly.
This worked great for me... I got the headset in "pairing" mode by following these instructions. Then set my BB Curve 8350i to "discover" bluetooth devices. It discovered the headset and asked for a PIN number... one of the other articles I read said the pin was "0000" so I put that in and - PRESTO - it works
It sounds like the found phone isn't locked and you can get into it.
In that case you haven't said that you've gone into Settings and switched its Bluetooth on, while your phone is Bluetooth pairing mode.
hold down the connect button on the bluetooth tl the light stays on, then open the boom, release the button. The light should stay on now, and your phone should be able to find you bluetooth.
To all with problems with bluetooth pairing.when you push button to turn on bluetooth headset ,hold button until steady light stays lit, then put phone in pairing mode, when ask for passcode enter 0000,which is the standard code for pairing bluetooth.
Start w/ power off (Best way to make sure you are off is to
plug the headset into the charger for 1 minute, then unplug & wait
10 seconds before continuing.)
Press & hold MFB. DO NOT RELEASE YET.
light will flash quickly a few times to indicate power on. (Still holding MFB)
After a few more seconds of holding the MFB the light should glow steady.
Once the light is on steady you may release the MFB and pair with your phone.
The V3C cant pair with other phones.. I have to hold my bluetooth head set on top of my phone to get it to pair sometimes and make sure the headset is in pairing mode
