Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Web Browser Many sites I try to go to tell me I have an old browser and need to upgrade just about everywhere I try to download message says does not recognize file. I have Opera Mini now but I still get this message . Also is there a way to get Flash Player on my RazrV3 or shockwave any sort of video player. I have been working on these matters for over a month!!! I am getting tired o f trying. Thanks for any info!! Marlene

This happen beacause of you are trying to download those file which are not supported by your mobile. sorry to tell but you cant install any third party software for playing video or shockwave files on Razrv3. motorola supported files are only java MIDP2. that means other than java games you cant install any third party software on your mobile.

Depending on the web browser being used there should be an option on where to store downloads within the browsers settings. If the site keeps telling you to install try restarting the computer, usually just restarting the web browser is enough but Im sure you've probably already done that. If a restart doesn't help then directly download flashplayer from adobe.com..sometimes a site will say you need a flashplayer and sneek in spyware, etc when you go to install said flashplayer. If you go to adobe.com you can at least know your getting the correct up-to-date version of flashplayer. If that still doesn't do the trick try playing a video on youtube. If it works on youtube but not the original site you were trying then theres something up with the site. If youtube doesn't work as well try a different web browser and if it still isn't working uninstall any flashplayer within windows and reinstall via adobe.com ...hope this helps, good luck

My mobile cant download songs or movies,what do i do?
This depends on the website which you visit to download contents from. Not all websites support all kinds of phones too. You might be visiting a website that does not support your phone's native web browser and as such might require you to download another browser like the UC browser, Opera mini browser and others which i haven't mentioned.
Also, there might be a possibility that the site you are trying to download from requires some sort of payment before u can download their contents. It is also necessary that you check to make sure that the contents which you try to download are the compatible versions for your phone. You might be trying a version that is not compatible for your phone.
Lastly, you might need to contact your service provider to check with them if your current data plan is one that allows you to download items off the web and also see if the phone is a branded one that has been locked to any network before as this might cause conflict between networks and disable your ability to download.

Every time i go onto the zoosk web site it keeps telling me to upgrade my browser which i dont understand & cant seem to get rid of
Most modern web sites require a newer version of a "web browser" in order to ensure that all of the features of the web site work correctly. You are probably using an old version of "Internet Explorer" which is the web browser built in to Windows.
If you are using Microsoft Windows XP or newer, you should visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-8 and download an install Internet Explorer 8.
If you have an older version of Windows, the alternate "Firefox" browser can get downloaded from http://getfirefox.com. When you install that, click on the "Firefox" icon to access web sites like Zoosk that need a newer browser.
If you are running very old Windows system like Windows 98, you may not be able to get rid of the message and should consider getting a newer computer.

I cant play any youtube videos on firefox but i can played them on other browsers can you please tell me the cause of the problem?
You might have to install flash again from the firefox browser itself. if you type adobe flash into google on firefox it should bring you to the download site.

What kind of messages are you trying to open? If it's a text message, then you may need to upgrade the firmware of your phone.

If it's an email message, you need to access the web mail and make sure that the messages are not corrupted.

that means you have to upgrade it with latest once....

This problem occurs if you are using "Microsoft Internet Explorer" browser 6.0 or lower. Try upgrading your browser to Internet explorer 8.0. It is a newer version which has a lot of advantages comparing to previous versions. But you can use it only in Windows XP or higher versions of operating systems.I have provided the link which leads to the website for downloading the browser for free.You can also take a look at the Mozilla Firefox browser.

Web browser does not support frames
i) usually browser in some mobiles donot support frames(web pages are usually build using frames), so instead of using ur inbuilt browser......try to use an external browser from internet

try download "opera mini 4.2" using the website "http://www.opera.com/"(if your phone supports java applications) and copy it to ur memory card(phone memory card)

ii) it will install on ur phone, you will get enriched experience of browsing, which would be similar to browing on ur computer..........

Motorola Razr v3 stuck in mute mode. Finally find mute switch during a call, turn it off , says mute off with green arrow and then it reverts back to mute! No idea how phone got stuck on mute!
