The camera was given to me by my father when he got it from Dell. When he gave it to me, he mentioned that there were no CD's with it to install the sofware. I put the USB port in and the computer recognized that it is a Chameleon Mega camera, and went through the process of installing the driver, but I want the actual software that goes with it, since I have pictures in it that need to be taken out. Help me out here, Please. Where can I go to get the sofware online and get it installed? Does anyone have a CD they are willing to give me to help me out?

Hi, it sounds like your computer was restored but the applications that you use are not installed. That is most likely the reason you are not seeing those icons.
You would need to install those applications separately. The install programs can be found for your camera hardware. Roxio might be included on one of your Dell CD or DVD's if it came installed with your computer.

Yes - you can use the cam but you will need to download some software for it You have a couple of options ( apart from the CD )
1) Visit the Radio Shack support website and download from here
http://support.radioshack.com/soft.htm
2) If your Computer can identify New Hardware when you plug something into the USB - switch off computer - plug in webcam and start your computer - allow the new software to download automatically before starting any programs.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
