Question about RCA DRC8060N DVD Recorder

Recording I know this may seem like a dumb question, but I am not able to figure out how to put more than one movie on a disc. Can anyone help me? I don't want to put it on a timer. I just want to start recording when I see something of interest. It is an RCA DRC8060N DVD Recorder. I hope someone can help me. I am pulling my hair out. Am ready to chunk this recorder. Please help me!!!! Thank you for any help you can give me. lee

Change the recording level. On the meny screen go to the options and set the recording level to a lower level. You get more space per disk but at a lower quality. I know this is almost 1 year late, but knowing RCA, you probably have more issues with this unit by now

RCA DRC8060N On my power supply board I have voltage up to the components marked IP050 and IP053. This lettering is above a triangle with an exclamation point in it on both. Any idea what these components are, and where they can be purchased if they are faulty?

RCA drc8052 frozen and won't do anything. Was recording & it kept freezing when I would pause to fast forward dvr recordings thru commercials. It would get stuck on pause. Then it worked fine for almost an hour of pausing and ffwding now its stuck again. Help.

Insufficient video signal I recently switched from Cox Cable to ATT's new Uverse and I've lost the ability to record video on DVDs. I can hook up an external device like a VCR and burn a DVD but trying to do it from the cable box gets an "insufficient video signal" message. It doesn't matter if I use the front or rear input jacks. I'm using good quality RCA cables. I can hear the audio half the time but the video is either blue or a scratchy display. Playing DVDs works fine but I can't get a signal to the RCA for burning purposes. Do you have any suggestions?
