Norcold freg.dont know model but its in a 1999 sportsman rv. will run on gas. But will blow fuses on 110. It will run for a few hours sometimes but often just keeps blowing fuses.

Heating Element is shorted out, circuit board is bad, or you have a 110 volt wire shorted to ground. If it does operate for a few hours the latter is not likely. Do an ohms reading on the heating element, should be 35-45 ohms. If it is infinite the element is shorted

Most places are marking parts as obsolete. Try the first two, although one lists it as a power supply board and the other as a door retainer. Either way, you are better looking for a complete new unit.

Norcold refrigerator burner will not stay lit. Ignitor lights the gas, but as soon as it the ignitor stops, the flame goes out. Thanks.

u need to replace the thermocuple or be sure its near the pilot also be sure to blow out any and all dust in that area

My norcold frig(RV) freezes food in lower level

in your refridgerator there is an internal thermostat on the cooling fan u can move up or down it should be placed on the last finn to the right looking at the fridge

Norcold rv refrigerator freezer

Make sure the thermister is attached firmly to the fins in the back. The boards on a Norcold can be reset a service center familiar with this process is your best bet. It takes disconecting the board and then shorting it out best to leave it to some one who is familiar.

It sounds like the relay could be stuck closed on the electric side of the board. This would not allow the element to stop working. Sometimes resetting the board will fix this problem if it is still under warranty they will cover both the board or the resetting.
