The polariod a515 has a microphone built in
but it does not have a full speaker, just a little one thats only good for blips and boops.
so unless you have sound disabled it will not play back the sound for you

My sound will not play on my polaroid iS426 camera how do i fix it?

There is no built in speaker in Polaroid iS426 camera. You can play your videos when imports on your PC. So don't worry about that.

When i am in video mode, my camera only records for 60 seconds then it stops and i have to hit record again. Is there a setting i need to change to fix this problem? its very frustrating

Is it EXACTLY 60 seconds EVERY time? If so, it sounds like a preference setting (probably default). Try going to the Menu section and look for a "Setup" routine and see if there is a "Max. Record Time" (or something similar) setting. Change as desired. Usually there is a choice for the maximum capacity of your recording media, SD card or whatever. If it starts out ending at 60 seconds and gets progressively shorter with each recording cycle, it may need recharging. Good luck. *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle. I can record video but playback theres no sound.

Your camera probably doesn't have a speaker. Try downloading the video to your PC for playback.

No sound on video clips

Hi,

On most digital cameras of this variety (but not all), the video recording is more of an add-on feature and not its main function. The video clip is actually a series of still pictures taken continuously to give semblance of video. For this reason the video clips is a couple of seconds at most. In the same token, there is no feature for audio recording (no mic, no electronics) hence the playback is absent of sound.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
