Question about Fuji FinePix F470 Digital Camera

F470 I am trying to solve a problem with my F470 Fuji digital camera. When I am printing my pictures or sending them to my PC no date is written on the pictures as it should be with most of cameras. I have checked the menu sevral times but I couldn't find where to set up this. Does somebody know if this camera doesn't have this option ? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The camera does not do exactly what you want. You can print the date & time using the Digital Print Order Format as described on page 52 of the manual (link below): http://www.fujifilmusa.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/bin/FinePix_F470_Manual.pdf I don't see any way of having the data & time appear on the images stored on the PC or camera.     I answered your question, no it cannot print the date & time on pictures you download to your PC.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

On my Fuji F470 camera -right and left arrow keys on Menu not working. Up and down arrow keys working. How much will it cost to repair?
Your camera is suffering from ribbon strip failure.
Likely to be where the strip is folded over to fit into the camera.
These folds stress the ribbon over time and eventually split. To get it fixed you will have to send it to Fuji service centre.

Why Fuji film digital camera cannot put date on PC screen
The pics actually have the date and a lot of other information stored with them. If you right click the pic and choose properties, you'll get some of the info. If you open the pic in a photo editing program, you can get the shutter speed, lens opening, etc.Also, in a photo editing program like Photoshop Elements, you can add the date to the pic as text.

My F470 Fuji Fine Pix takes stripey pictures but when it is in movie mode it is fine
Your cameras shutter is sticking. lines on photo's or over exposed photo's are due to the shutter not closing completely over the lens.
Video is fine because it does not use the shutter.

The shutter will require cleaning.

Fuji FinePix F470 works perfectly unless a memory card is present
Some cameras are very sensitive when it comes to memory cards for some odd reason. I would try a different make of sd card.

Read error
Try formatting the card in the camera using the setting in the camera's menu.
Some makes of xd or sd cards do not work correctly in fuji camera's. Sometimes even formatting them in the camera does not have any effect.

Camera turns on but it does nothing.
The ribbon cable for the buttons has either come out of its socket because it was not locked down (does happen) or it is broken and will need to be replaced. Fuji will not send out spare parts but will fix it for a price. Last quote I got from fuji to fix the keypad ribbon on an F470 was £80. check ebay for donor camera

hi , you should try your card in something else to see, if it good, i think your car died at same moment as you do your thing , now to know if your cam is ok run wihtout card inside. let me know, yvon chow !!!
