My unit was working fine until one day it fell on the floor. After that time, no steam was coming out of it. The water becomes hot, I can hear it. The light becomes green, the cap is hot but no steam is coming out of the nozzle when I depress the handle. ICan it be fixed? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like the themostat inside the unit is broken. The only solution to fix the unit is to send it to the manufacturer for repair.
I'm unsure of the cost for the repair but it might be cheaper if the unit is older to throw it away and buy a new steamer.
Your heater in the cleaner is either plugged or has quit working, make sure you are getting a good ground for the cleaner. you may want to check the ground pin on the cord and make sure it is not loose or broken.
The fall might have damaged or moved the trigger so that it does not depress the valve on boiler.
Try removing the screws which hold the handle together. The cap needs to be removed to allow the handle to separate.
Once the handle is apart check the trigger piece looking for any broken parts.
