I only got my sandisk c150 over a month. Everything was fine until the other morning i put it on and it just keeps showing the sandisk logo which dims periodically.
The only thing i can remember was the night before i pulled it out of the pc with out disconnecting the usb in windows.
Why should that be the result? Please help, i really need this device to work/replaced because i need to use it's 2gb capacity and voice recording feature the most.

Try to reset your device by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds or until it resets....If that doesnt help you get the latest firmware upgrade for your device...that should solve the problems you are having...
My Sansa also failed to turn on. But what happened to me was that I unplugged the USB while it's connecting. After that I cannot sync with my computer anymore, so I tried turning it off and on couple times and at the end the whole thing won't turn on anymore. I talked to the SanDisk tech. You can try what he told me: take out the battery; press and hold the power button for 45 sec (this will drain the power in the capacitor...they call it "soft reset"); then put the battery back in and try to turn on the mp3 player. That didn't work for me. I just bought this a month ago so i guess because of the warranty, they will send me a brand new one. I hope this help.
do you have WMP10 installed? I couldn't transfer songs, although my computer recognised the player, until I installed it, I had an older version of WMP.
and check in settings/power that it's set to auto power off on the player.
the 'start updater browserDB' is normal after synching the player.
