When start my handycame of Sony DCR 285 E some time dysplay a slogan reinsart cassette.

This can be due to few issue and what could be checked by you is to look if the cassette is properly loading. Check if there is any objects blocking within the carriage. Also if the cassette hass any issues, try with another one.
Next check if the set is having condensation and so gives out the error message of a protect. So use a hair dryer into the cassette compartment and into the drum section.
Finally a fault in the servo or the loading can issue a fault condition.

Condensation message. I turned camera off overnight and still get message. What else can I do?

You should try to put it on a recipient full of rice for about 48 hours.
If problem persists, the condensation sensor should be replaced.

My camera was in a bag this summer when a soda spilled (in the bag). The camera got a little wet. We dried it out, wiped what we could, etc. Haven't used it since. Now when we try to use it,it is fine...

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

Sony handycam dcr-dvd105 has error message c21:00 moisture condensation. It has been like this for a week. My last use worked fine. I had stored it at room temp inside.

No knowing how old or condition of your equipment is ... its hard to suggest a solution. But the dew sensor of sony equipment tends to get dirty very quickly ... needs to be clean with a q-tip & alcohol every couple of years.

My nice old reliable DCR-PC101 won't fire up as it is giving me the condensation warning (won't load a mini DV) and it is clearly "dry". What is up with that? I have hit reset button - removed battery etc....

What's the error code? You said "condensation warning", I assumed its C21:00. Lots of smacking required have been posted for the problem. Try this one ... Here's link to a picture of typical moisture sensor. clean it with a q-tip and alcohol. (http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/sony-hvr-a1-hdr-hc-series/88013-moisture-condensation-2.html)
