Printer Ricoh Aficio 1515

Are you using a new toner cartridge? If not they may be the issue, refilled ones can cause this condition. I know this first hand from my wife's office printer.

have you tried cleaning the charging wire and the transfer belt

follow these instructions :)

open the front cover and you see the counter on a little left

Select and download and install the software-drivers for your printer.

go to page 28 , changing the toner.

Does it also do this while printing?

Does it do if while using the auto document feeder and the glass or just one of the two?

Does the light come on inside when it scans?

call ricoh serviceman he/she can fix it.
Defective tank full sensor
• Tank full lever bent or broken
• Incorrect ink suction
1. Check the harness of the tank full sensor.
2. Replace the GJ engine.
3. Replace the maintenance unit.

• The position of the tank full lever
does not stay at the tank full position
after ink initialization or air releasing.
• The position of the tank full lever is
not detected at ink suction.
