As you can see the picture is waivey when I turn it on for about 10 to 15 minutes then it will straighten out.. sometimes longer...why is this happening and how can I fix it?
What is the TV brand and model number? In general when its wavy or 3D looking its a convergence failure....but if it corrects itself occasionally then there may be second problem that will have to be resolved first.

Line, faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.
Vertical 'flipping' is almost unheard of with modern digital video. Are you receiving your signal via the coax antenna or cable input? You might try using a different input method and possibly a different source (DVD player etc.) to see if the problem is consistent. You might also check the refresh rate of the TV and try changing it. If the problem only happens after the TV warms up, you may have a heat related electronic problem with the TV. Try blowing a fan on the TV too see if this delays the problem for 5 minutes or so.... If it's heat related, it will likely be an expensive repair unless it's under warranty.
This problems could be also causes by the board the call the T-CON docoders board,it sit in at middle of the bottom of the LCD screen panel.Because this board decoders incomming pictture signal before it go into the LCD screen panel to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoderd board for the replacement.
This is a symptom of poor solder connections inside the set. The set will continue to deteriorate until it won't turn on at all. This is essentially a labor only repair and should not be to expensive for any TV service shop. Once this has been repaired, the set should work for many years to come.
These poor connections are caused by the continual heat/cool cycles because of use and is normal.
The TV could be wired to same breaker on the furnace. Or the cable line maybe cut or rubbing on electric line for furnace which can cause interference. Check each wire make sure there isn't any bare wire showing. good luck
Sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is beginning to fail.Unless your good at this type of repair, I would call a tech to have it serviced. And I would also not use the set until the problem is corrected, or it could get real expensive to fix.
Color separation is called convergence mis-alignment......that problem can be repaired...............Blurry,darker when cold may be a bit of difficulty..............Have a skilled tech give it a look.....T.
No rest on this model other than unplugging to let it return to factory default. If your a tech .. Check R19722 and R19703 for open. Both 750 K. these open make the convergence menu to be gone.
