First, let's see if the computer is recognizing the mouse. Unplug the mouse, restart the computer, and then re-plug the mouse. Typically, the computer, in the bottom right side of the screen will attempt to re-establish connection to the mouse.

If it does not, then re-downloading the driver for the mouse (if a disc was not provided with it) will help the computer recognize the mouse and the connection.
Hope that helps.

Mouse doesn't always connect

Mouse may be dying or the USB port needs update. If you can borrow a mouse or purchase a news one to test. If you need to update USB driver go online to see how to do that. I would bet IRS just the mouse.

My mouse is lock need help please

Good day there, glad to be of assistance to you today.
What kind of mouse is it? Is it a bluetooth mouse with batteries?
1.Is it a regular usb mouse with lights on it? If so, please check if you've got lights on the mouse,it means it's being detected by the notebook. 2.Please shut down your computer first, as soon as the the computer turns off, unplug and plug the mouse back in then power it back on. 3.If that doesn't work, try plugging it to a different usb port and restart the notebook. If it's the same issue, please check if the mouse will work on another notebook when plugged in.
I hope this has helped you resolve your concern. Have a wonderful day.

New mouse does not connect saitek wireless notebook mouse s/n:ho83671834

HI,

You have to manually pair the mouse with the dongle.

Follow this steps and retry them a few times and it will work:

  • Plug the dongle in.
  • Press the button on the dongle for two seconds so that the green light flashes on and off.
  • Press the button on the underside of the mouse once (short press).
  • Wait for the mouse to pair.
  • If it doesn't pair, press the button underneath the mouse once to continue scanning.
The whole process shouldn't take longer than 10 seconds

Hope it helps...

Will not connect..its not in sync with my pc

Hello

Turn the switch to the "On" position, located underneath your mouse if your mouse has a switch.

Restart your computer to have a fresh starting point for troubleshooting. Sometimes, just restarting your computer can resolve issues you have with your HP wireless mouse.

Move your HP mouse about 39 inches away from your receiver.

Unplug your USB receiver, if you have one, and wait about 10 seconds.

Replug the USB receiver into another USB port, closer to your mouse if possible, then resynchronize your mouse and receiver.

Press and hold the connect button on your receiver, while plugged in, until you see the LED light flash.

Hold and press the connect button underneath your mouse until the LED light on the receiver stops flashing.

Check to make certain the button under your mouse does not get stuck in the depressed position and releases. Also, make certain you complete this resynchronizing process in 60 seconds, or else you must start over. Your mouse will now have a new identification number from resyncing.

Unplug the USB receiver, wait 10 seconds, then replug the receiver firmly into the USB slot, pushing it in entirely. You will notice the receiver's activity light turn on, then off in the next five seconds.

Press the connect button underneath your mouse until you see the activity light turn on again on the USB receiver.

Check to make certain the mouse connect button does not remain depressed when you release it.
