E machines computer, im845g mother board connection pins

I have taken the front off the machine to repair the on/off button. There are three twin cables to the mother board, green/white,red/white, and black/white.Whilst I know where the black/white is connected I am afraid I got the other two mixed up.I also note that there are more pins than sockets which is a little confusing. Can any one help?

The three cables are for power, reset, and an indicator light. They will all be connected within one centimeter of each other on the motherboard. You will see two rows of metal pins about five mm tall. There will be white letters printed on the motherboard. PWR, HD, RESET, SPKR. You want your indicator light connected to the HD pins, the power button to the PWR pins, and the reset button to the RESET pins.

Please post again if you need more help.

F1_Code on a whirlpool washer

washers have had several common repair issues since day one. If your Cabrio or Oasis washing machine has the dread error code F1, you can fix it. The F1 error code on you're washing machine means the mother board is bad. The repair is simple and straight forward if you are the adventurous type. The washers control panel needs to be removed to gain access to the mother board. The three screws on the back side hold the washers control panel to the cabinet. The screws are 1/4 size and a nut driver works best to remove them.
The washers main control board is held down with one small screw in the front. Removing the screw and lifting the board up is all that needs to be done to remove the control. The wire connections are all plug and play. The washers pressure switch hose also plugs into the main board. The pressure hose also simply lifts up and off the control board. Need more help? Post your question below i would be happy to assist.

There are may motherboards, but most have writing on them as to what is suppose to plug where. For example, for the power switch, the lettering might be "Pwr" or "Power" or "Pwr sw". The pins are usually together and should fit the plug on the end of the wire.

T6410 EMACHINE TRYING TO CONNECT START BUTTON

The motherboard in your computer is an MSI MS-7145, which is also called RS480M. You can download a copy of the manual here. The front panel connections are on page 2-20.

Looking at the header JFP1, pins 1 through 9 (odd numbers) are the front row, pins 2 through 10 are the back. Pin 10 is the missing pin. The power switch connects to pins 6 and 8. The power LED connects to pins 2 and 4. The HDD LED connects to pins 1 and 3. The reset button, if used, connects to pins 5 and 7.

Where to hookup front panel (PIII-3754LMR - AMPTRON)

Front Panel Connector The front panel header is where the connectors of hard disk drive activity lights, case speaker, reset button, power on/off button, computer power on light, and key lock, are connected to make them function smoothly. In the past days, users always have difficulty connecting the front panel due to a lack of standard location on the motherboard. Today, AOpen integrated all these disorder but essential front panel connectors into one 20-pin connector for easy usage. Connecting the front panel would no longer be the headache of installing motherboard anymore. Below is a view of this user-friendly front panel connector of AOpen motherboard.

Emachines problem... PSU works but comp doesnt turn on

Hi, Did you just add the second CD? If you did you may need the driver for the mother board? Make sure the power cord for the cd has voltage plug it into the DVD drive also check the cable make sure red stripe is on the correct side of drive. You can download the driver at http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=Desktops&subcat=T-Series&model=T2672 User guide is there as well. The start button has a pair of wires with a small pin connector on it. This will connect to the motherboard if there is a 3 pin set you might try moving to the other pin. The new power supply also has to provide a start voltage? Your power supply may not be compatible or it may put the voltage on the third pin.
