Hi my volvo 1999 v70 cross country had ac problem i was in volvo dealer they told me ac compressor. but my friend feeled 2 pieces 134 ac feron it's work good and cold after 2-3 days start again blowed hot air
Please ask someone to translate your problems into plain english as i cannot seem to understand ,but iam assuming that someone topped the gas up and it worked but now it doesnt and i suspect that the fault is a leaking seal on the compressor which is why the dealer wanted to change the compressor as the main cause of AC leaks is the front seal on the compressor
Start off with the cheap possibilities and make your way threw.
I'd start off with replacing Air Charge temperature sensor, make sure your AC Hose isnt leaking anywhere, if those dont solve it then replace ur AC clutch, last chance would be replacing AC compressor. sometimes the compressor will malfunction randomly. or the AC clutch might malfunction aswell. covering these steps somewhere along the line you will have working AC again! good luck

Sounds like your temperature actuator is not moving or your temp door is broken. On max a-c ,coolant is shut off to your heater core allowing only cold air in.

I AM AN ASE CERTIFIED VOLVO----MASTER TECH AND YOUR PROBLEM W`HICH IS COMMON ON ALL 850,S ANDS70,S THE PROBLEM IS PROBALLY AT LEAST 70% DUE TO AN AIR-FLOW RISTRICTION TO THE CONDENSOR FIRST IS SYSTEM AT FULL CHARGE LOW SIDE 25-33 PSI AND YOU AND I REPEAT ONLY CHARGE SYSTEM ON THE LOW SIDE THERE IS NO AND I REPEAT NO HIGH PRESSURE CONNECTOR AND WHAT I WOULD DO IS RUN AGOOD THICK WIRE FROM A/C COMPRESSOR AND A 30 AMP FUSE FROM A CIRCUIT LIKE THE HEATED SEATS FROM INSIDE THE CAR WITH A TOGGLE SWITCH AND A THERMOMETER IN CENTER AIR DUCT AND MANUALLY SHUT THE SYSTEM DOWN IF IT FALLS BELOW 40 DEGREES AND WATCH THE THERMOMETER EVERY 7 MINUTES AND THE MAIN PROBLEM IS THE ENGINE FAN CIRCUIT I HAVE DONE DOZENS OF THESE AND THE PROCEDURE IS WHAT I WROTE

More likely the recharge blew a o-ring and you have a leak. When your Cavalier was blowing hot air and a recharge fixed it that means it was low on freon which lets o-rings dry out, go back to the shop and have them leak test it. They use a pressurized dye to find the problem. If it's blowing it's not the cooling fan relay, they may have meant compressor relay but I'd have a leak test done first it's not expensive and easier that chasing unknown possibilities.

you have moisture in the system this causes your expancion valve to freeze up an stop working, thats why it works for sort time and when it de-freezes stars working again. you need to do a EVAC & RECHARGE with a good AC service equipment, specially attention to pull vacumm por at least 20minutes so you get all moisture out of the system.
Good luck

Make sure your fan is coming on, you should hear it come on when you turn on the A/C or defrost. The most common problem for that symptom is the fan relay burns out, and the A/C comes on strong but then overheats quickly making the pressure in the condenser get too high and the pressure cycling switch automatically turns off the A/C. The condenser then cools and the process starts over. If you can locate your radiator fan fuse and relay, which will be in the fuse box under the hood, you can rule out the relay by pulling one of the same size from another system that isn't important like the fog lamps(if equipped). As long as you verify that the fan is NOT working, you would try this relay swap test as long as the fuse is still good. I work for a Ford dealer as a technician, if you brought your vehicle in for service for an A/C or heater concern and your still having problems with it. You can bring it back in for a "recheck" or "repeat" repair and they will have no right to charge you again... If I worked on someones car, and the problem came back after they left, I would seriously want to know because I care about my work and care about my name as a master technician. Just remember, you do not have to pay for repeat repairs... EVER!!
I hope this info helps!~subyguru~
