How to rectify Error code:1

Go to the following link and choose your laptop and download the Utilities driver for your model.

scratched disk? Overheating? define fail: Blue screen of death? Error codes? Etc..

Download the hotkey utility from the toshiba web site. I got this errorafter installing service pack 2 for xp. The hotkey utility fixed it.error appeared every time I started windows xp. Go to:http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp
and go to downloads, select model and download:
Toshiba Hotkey Utility
Install and restart, problem solved. thank you, thank you...

please help my player to work again

I suggest to save all files , documents , photos , music , etc.
and perform a complete RECOVERY to your unit , bring it back to new , like taking it out of the box , hope this helps AJ

Hi,
you should have a program on the laptop, which allows you to uninstall the hotkeys.
Alternatively, re-install your laptop or computers software.
This May resolve your issue.
