"Generac Portables" Model #GC160, 5hp Honda gasoline engine, 2300 psi delivery. Upcomer is small diameter (3/16" or 1/4") clear flexible plastic tubing connected to hose barb on pump head (downstream). Ball check and spring inside hose barb.
While pressure washing, no suction is occuring drawing chemicals into stream as before. With engine not running and water from hose running thru wand suction does occur. The system seems like venturi principle but pressure from operating it now seems to block the upcomer stream. Why now? Tube is clear, hose is clear everything seemed to be normal.
Picks up under low pressure conditions by adjusting wand or changing tip.

The small clear plastic line in the pump compartment keeps blowing off. I made sure it was clamped properly
