I've seen many similar problems on here, but I can't seem to figure out what's going on with my fridge. The freezer is still working, although ice output has virtually stopped. The refrigerator is now room temperature with no sounds coming from any vents or anything up top. 1. I took the back panel off and melted the ice buildup (although there wasn't much). 2. I noticed that the fan in the back panel wasn't running at all. When I manually moved the fan, it started whirling again and kept going for a little while (30 mins) and then stopped again. 3. The water is still running in the door. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I would replace the evaporator fan if you say its not working, but works when you turn it for a while. The bearing in the motor is m9st likely gone. There inexpensive to repolace and Im sure if you allready have had the rear panel off you will have no proble replacing it. Good luck
