Unit will not turn on

My T2865 will not turn on. I have replaced the power supply, same result. The only light that goes is the Ethernet link light, no other light comes on. Are there any fuses that are not easily seen on the motherboard?

The ethernet light is showing that some power is available. Your MB runs off of various power. It may be sensing the power required for the ethernet port, but the main power may be shorted out on the board somewhere. There are no fuses on a MB. Replace MB. You can go to various websites to spec out a new board. You will most definitely need another Operating System as well.

Our experience with that model has been defective motherboards. You can replace the board with a generic board if you cannot find the emachine board. You might have to reload Windows if you do.

My power supply mess up and started smoking now my magnum delta force cb is messing up when i turn it on the swr meter will light up but no sound and frequency counter wont light up any clue

Smoking means something died, possibly in the power supply so the result is incorrect or no power to the internal boards of the unit. Take for repair or replace the unit.

Screen goes black after 2 sec

The lightbulb high voltage power supply is detecting problem with the low voltage power supply or with one of the light bulbs and shutdowns in emergency. Open the monitor and check for inflated capacitors. Replace all capacitors even if only few are inflated. Light bulbs require further testing empowering them one by one with external high voltage por supply and their replacement is not easy. Have to open the LCD and then it's hard to clean the layers from the dust resulting bad spots on the image. Be careful and good luck.

Green turn on button will not come on just orange lite. green button don't turn on at all nor will computer boot up. model T2865 bought in 2007

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps

Sharp LC-26D43U Power light flashes and unit won't turn on?

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.

Here's a place I use to get parts for TVs:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=LC-26D43U&p=1
The problem is the repair shop may charge you double or three times of what the part costs at the web site link above. Then, plus labor. I just want to save you money. :)

If you fan isn't turning like it should, it is definitely a power supply issue. Go out and purchase a power supply with 250-300 watts...thats a good standard wattage!!

FLASHING RED LIGHT ON 360

Make sure that the power supply is cool loadTOCNode(2, 'whattotry'); The red light may indicate that the power supply is too hot or it has already overheated. If that is the case, you should let the power supply cool for several hours in a well-ventilated space. Turn off the Xbox 360 console and don't turn it back on while the power supply is cooling. This will allow the power supply sufficient time to cool. As soon as the power supply has cooled off, the power supply light will change from red to orange, and you can turn the console back on.

If the power supply light is still red after you have let the power supply unit cool in a well-ventilated space, the power supply unit may require replacement. You can contact Xbox Customer Support at http://www.xbox.com/support/contact (http://www.xbox.com/support/contact) for information about how to replace the power supply.

Make sure that the power supply is plugged in correctlyFor further details go to this link

Powering up my Lacie ethernet disk 250

When I had this problem it turned out to be the power supply unit. Lacie replaced it - if you are out of warranty you can buy them for about £25 - and this solved the problem.

I have a Compaq SR 1000 desktop set and I can't get the power to go on. When I plug the unit in a green light in the back keeps blinking. When I disconnect, hold in the power button the blinking stops, but...

Hello shapscomp

The blinking green light is likely your Ethernet card's LED. Is the blinking light located near your Ethernet (network) cable?

It sounds as though your power supply has failed. You may be able to purchase a replacement power supply for it.

Would you like some assistance in deterimining if that is the case?

Thank you
BJ
