Each driver has its own INF file are provided next to the driver download. You
must replace the INF file with Modifed downloaded from nVidia. But before
installing the driver did you install the NVIDIA drivers any other form? I had
the same problem and I installed the driver provided by Dell original first,
then updated to the current driver. Try not to install the new driver and the
first thing will be done
Try a manual installation of the driver via device manager, the content
of the driver is usually unpacked to c:\nvidia. Run the inf file in this folder.
This trick always works for me when i come accross any system driver which
doesn't works properly.
INF error usually occurs if the inf file is missing or the auto run .inf extension file is missing. INF is used to load the auto run of the application that made it possible to be used to any specified application that serves its purpose. So therefore your SD card reader won't show up due to the face that its INF file that is responsible in loading it application is missing. So i recommend that you have to reinstall completely the driver of SD Card reader in order to be able to use the application.
