First, there are two things you need to know. The DKT3010 phone will work on different Toshiba phone systems AND you can have different voice mail systems. The phone system and voice mail are separate to some extent. You need to know the model of the Toshiba main control unit and it would help to know for sure which voice mail system you have.
You SHOULD have an administrator's guide for the system and voice mail or someone at the office in control of making simple changes to the system... however, depending on the company that originally installed the system you may have gotten nothing (hopefully they are still in business and you know who they are!!) Most of these systems can be programmed over the phone quickly by the company that originally installed it. There are probably passwords that you would need to know to change any programming features and if you don't know what they are you would be out of luck.
Your best bet is to find the company that installed the system. There may even be a sticker on the main control unit with their contact info. Next I would try to find a local installation company that could help you get the changes made and set you up with a way to make future simple changes yourself. Get ALL the information needed to make any changes like passwords etc.. even if you do not want to do it yourself, you NEED to have this information in case the company goes out of business!

Voicemail does not work in your phone, it works in the Telephone Company who, provide your Cellular Service. Vodafone, T-mobile etc.
You have to Contact your Service Provider (carrier) and ask them to reset the password for you.
You have to ask them, as it is a secutity precaution because ANYBODY could reset your password.
If you are using voicemail, then the Service is provided by your Telephone Service Provider.. You need to Contact them and ask for a Passcode Reset for your Voicemail Box
Only your Telephone Company can Reset it.
You apparently have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

1. Enter your voicemail Code. This is like an extension which dials voicemail (mine is 750).
2. # *
3. 999 #
4. 999997 # (this is the default password, but it might have been changed. contact your phone company for the password)
5. 8
6. Follow the prompts. You will need the DN number for the phone. Also, select "Reset Security Code", not "Reset Mailbox". Resetting the mailbox will erase ALL data from the mailbox (voicemails, greetings, names, passwords).
I hope this helps!
Normally this indicates that you have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.
To reset this indicator, press MENU/SELECT. Select the "Global Setup" menu and then the "VMWI Reset" submenu. Move the cursor to either "Yes" or "No" and then press MENU/SELECT.
contact your system admin or vendor to have the mailbox reset. The mailbox isn't inside the phone, it's a system that supports all the phones in your office/company.
call the voicemail extension. when it answers press * it should ask for user ID. enter 999 and use 999997 for sec code or 999. press 8 for admin features and follows prompt to reset userid sec code
