Hi my name is brandi and my fiance had boughten me an iLo mp3 player from walmart for christmas(this past christmas). About a month ago my power button broke and i cant get it to work. I need to know how to get a hold of the company ( i cant find them anywhere on the web. What can i do?
I tried to get a hold of them too. They apparently dont do warranties on stuff like this and from what they told me they don't fix them either. Mine does the same exact thing and I was surprised to find out this morning that I'm not the only one. In order to get it to work (and this is BS) you have to plug the USB connector into the computer and let it light up for a few seconds. Then unplug the cord and hold in the power button as hard as you can until it starts. You have to do this everytime but once you get it started it works just like before until it shuts off. Also, make sure that you set the power saver so that it doesn't stay on all day and drain the battery: you can't shut it off with the power button either.

Yes it hooks up to your computer and thats how you charge the unit. Find out where it was boughten. See what their return policy is. If it was boughten at a Wal-mart they will give you an even exchange without a receipt(I use to work there).
Ilo player must be synchronized, coping and pasting files is not enough:
Start Windows Media Player and select following menus: "File.", then choose "Add to Library." then the "Add"
button. Then, look for the folder where your keep the mp3s to upload.
Plug the Ilo MP3 player into USB.
Click the "Sync" tab that you find at the top of Windows Media Player . You will find the Ilo MP3 player on the right side of Windows
Media Player. If Ilo is not ther, then right-click on Sync tab and
click "Refresh Devices."
Click
"Library" then
"Songs." on Windows Media Player . Highlight the son songs, and choose "Add to
Sync List."
Click
"Start Sync" button that will appear at the bottom right corner of Windows
Media Player. The songs will then be uploaded to the Ilo MP3 player.
Ilo Mp3 Player is weak in Power button so many people get same problem open the case and reinsert the power button still not working, change the rupper piece under the power switch
1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up. 2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
Go to My Computer IlO or name of player music and
copy/paste your files in that directory
My Computer/ILO/Music/
Do not use Media player and do it manually and it should work (any computer)
