Copier ricoh aficio 450 error code SC 542-00 ?

I managed to find a list of Ricoh error codes with brief explanations of their causes here:

This clearly identifies the problem as a laser motor problem - OR
Charge roller, HVT, or fuse FU5 (AFICIO 340, 350 series, 355, 450 series, and 455) - OR
SC-302-01, 02, 03, 04 Charge corona assembly Aficio 550/650
SC-303 Charge corona wire cleaner, disconnected or time out for printer.
All of these sound rather like an engineer requirement but you may be able to something with appropriate spares

That service code SC550 normaly is a fuser web end error, you must replace the web and reset the % in 1.902 to "0". But i dont think the Ricoh aficio 450 have a fuser web. does this SC550 coming from your Aficio 450?

That is a LASER error code.
It can be just toner dust because that error is a bad communication between the laser synchronization detector board and the LD unit.
Sometimes the dust of toner goes to the laser and causes this error.
Try to clean the laser unit. Maybe that work

ca 107 c then inter the sp mode then clear error

Laser synchronization error
The main scan synchronization
detector board cannot detect the laser
synchronization signal for more than 5
consecutive 100 ms intervals

Fuser warm up error. Repair problem (fuse, lamp, thermistor etc.) then reset code in service mode.

You'll need a tech to run a diagnostic mode to find the exact cause...could be development problem, Transfer belt, ID sensor, etc

Goto to copytechnet.com. Someone can help you locate the error codes you are looking for. That one is supported by copier technicians.
