My sansa e270 freezes 3/4 of the way thru the refresh database screen Does anyone have any suggestions?

    my Sansa e270 freezes at 2/10 of the refresh database , and i turn it off , then on again and its not working i connected it in my pc and guess what(!)didnt'read it, only charging it kinda make me mad can u help me please

Hello sorry for disturbing alot and i have a really problem with my sansa e200 mp3 and really have big prouble with that and can evern refresh the databaes and i need help to find that back with me now and i m mr.collins anderson and my yahoo address is [email protected]

Refresh database

You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

You cannot - the firm upgrade delted them - you will have to refind them and redownload.

SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player has only 79 songs and 3 GB used

You may have some corrupt data on the device.

It sometimes creates the wrong file allocation and gives you an incorrect representation of the free space.

Try formatting the device in My Computer to erase all of the information and start over.

My Computer>Device Name(e270)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

Why is my product freezing
