I have a whirl pool double oven model# rbd245pdq12 an the conto board is out. Can I install a control board from a whirlpool rbd275pdq1

A lot of ovens use the same boards to reduce inventory / spare parts, but it may have different programmes. The only way to check is to look online to see what programme differences (if any) are between the 2 models and then if you already have the board is to physically check and see what differences (if any) are between the 2 boards. Look for similar part numbers or code numbers on the board and connections, plugs, etc If its the same, try it and see if it works.

Replaced the top element but the circuit breaker keeps tripping when the oven or grill is switched on however the light and the defrost settings work normally

Check the wiring on the elements for a short..sounds like a ground short

Our whirl pool oven just stays on stop. We can't get it to reset. So now we can't get the oven to work because of this. Any possible easy solutions to fix please.

Well have ya tried to disconnect the power to it for at least 5 minutes then restore it and see if it resets itself

Need to set clock on oven

Instructions

- 1
  Check the oven to ensure that it is off and that the timer isn't running. The buttons used to set the clock are the same buttons that adjust the oven, and you may end up making unintended adjustments to the oven.

  Press the "Clock" button to enter the clock setting mode. The LCD will show the current time set on the oven.

  Use the "Set Temp/Time +" or "Set Temp/Time -" buttons to adjust the clock to the current time. Depending on your model of stove you may need to use the "Hour," "Min" or the "Temp/Hour" up and down arrow buttons to set the time.
- 4
  Save the new clock setting by pressing the "Start" button. Depending on your stove model, you may need to press the "Clock" button a second time if the "Start" button does not work.
