I have just bought 1.5" digital photo keyring from China. its got USB cable. when I connect to my pc nothing happens. I did not get any s/w with the package. There is no s/w for this to download pictures. where can get the free s/w download for DPFMATE 3.0?

    Thanks for the help. I needed to selec usb connect which was not on the manual I received with my order. After this the s/w was loaded automaticllly and i was able to transfer pictures. Thanks again.

After connecting this device to the pc, click on my computer and it should appear in the menu as one of your drives, if it does then select it and you should be able to transfer pics onto to it, if this doesn't work, I would contact the company or return it.

your missing the drivers for your usb plug it in and go to device manager and see if there is an unknown device click it and do windows driver update

Cant transfer photos from camera connecting as instructed in book bot nothing happens
To transfer Pictures to PC only connect to PC using USB Cable.
If don`t work try the following
1.- Go to control panel -- Device manager
check if they are a yellow mark near the device
if have a yellow mark, select -- right click --Uninstall

2.- restart your PC and check if work
If trouble continue
1.- Try connect to other USB port
2.- Connect to another PC
3.- Try with other cable

How do i download photos from pc to digital photo frame
1. Connect the digital photo frame to an available USB port on the PC. Turn on the PC and the digital photo frame. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the digital photo frame (this end is usually smaller) and connect the other end to the USB port on the PC itself.

2. Wait for the PC to automatically detect the USB-connected digital photo frame.

3. Move any photo files that you want to display on the digital photo frame. Do so by copying and pasting each file into the connected USB device that you can view in "my computer". Many photo frames have built-in memory for this feature.

I have installed the disk "dolphin 1.5" Digital Photo Frame with key chain (photo viewer V208G2 and am unable to get the thing installed. I run Windows Vista

Are you sure the Dolphin Digital Photo Frame is compatible with Windows Vista? When I searched, all I saw that was supported was XP and 2000. Once drivers are installed and they do not work, it's best to uninstall the driver (in the control panel in the system hardware configurations). Delete the driver and restart the computer with the picture fram plugged into the USB. You should be asked if you want to install the drivers. You then pick the custom location for drivers and browse to your drive with CD. You should be able to find the drivers somewhere within the disk (usually contained in it respective OS Folder e.g. WINXP). Load that particular driver.

Nothing happens when i put my usb cable
common problem is that the USB plug you using is not the right one, as I have a phone that acts the same way certian plugs charge it but one of my plugs the Windows OS sees it as a new divice added to my computer and promps me to nquestion wheather I want to open the device or other options, common mistake is that not all Nextel/Verizion/alltel smart phones use the same USB to mini pin configiration same with digital camera the mini plug may work on a camera but not you smart phone

Cannot find how to load photos onto Dolphin 1.5" Digital Photo Frame Key Ring
I had the same problems but solved it by uninstalling the useless POS software, rebooting the computer and reinstalling everything.

I have found that you have to do this everytime that you want to add or delete photos. Probably the worst piece of software I have seen in 15 years of working on computers.

If it won't detect as a seperate drive in "My Computer" then you will have to uninstall it and start again.

There is also no need to format the device. Just ignore it and start downloading photos and it worked straight away. (Using XP Home) As to battery life, I suspect I will never know because it is liable to have a visit from my sledge hammer before it runs out of power.

Photo key chain
Connect to pc. Press 'on' button on keyring. Change from 'charge' to 'update', then press > button. Photoviewer will then load. Good Luck!
