Question about HP LaserJet 4L Printer
Replace the power switch. A fairly standard switch type. You may get one off ebay or similar site. If push came to shove, you could just replace the power input assy.

All connections appear to be OK. Printer does not respond.
Do these things just die??
My Laserjet 4L one day just wouldn't turn on when I sent a document to it. I disconnected the I/O cable, pushed the blue top button (below the error lights) and nothing happens.
As I moved shortly thereafter, I've misplaced my operating manual.
Is there a fuse or hidden switch which could be preventing the printer from powering up?
Without connecting the I/O cable, shouldn't the blue button when depressed cause a print test sheet to be generated? Would it help in troubleshooting/repair if I reconnect the I/O cable?
Any advice would be appreciated.
