The flash player in the PS3 is Adobe 7. Most websites require 8 or higher. You will have to wait and hope that Sony include an upgrade in a future firmware update. Sony is aware of people's frustrations with the browser, and word is that an upgrade is coming.

Slow playback after recording.

Quality is definitely a factor here. Set tape speed to SP. Standard Play. It uses the most tape, and use a newer tape if possible.

You can also try converting to a newer format like MP4. This is the new standard for web videos. Older codecs might be an issue.

My iPhone plays videos on the Internet but no sound comes out, why Is that???

If your having problems with no audio from youtube, myspace and flash video. I suggest this

When watching web pages with embedded Flash video or animation such as movie or video clip on YouTube and MySpace using Mac OS X, users may hear no sound. The no sound audio output problem happens despite video playback is fine, and the issue can happen on any web browser, i.e. Safari and Mozilla Firefox. Strange thing is that, when using other applications such as RealPlayer, QuickTime Player and VLC Player, the sound is played properly. And no audio output issue does not affect embedded QuickTime including HD contents on the web.

Apple Mac OS X support site explains that the no audio from certain multimedia content issue is caused by some audio applications that change the computer's audio settings to a sample rate that is too high for other applications to use. The notorious programs include certain versions of Real Player, VLC Player and Audacity.
The solution to solve the Internet movie no sound or audio output is to reset the audio setting in Mac OS X to original configuration:
  1. Open "Audio MIDI Setup" (/Applications/Utilities/), then check the "Audio Output" setting.
  2. Change the "Audio Output" setting to 44100.0 Hz.
  3. Quit Audio MIDI Setup.
If the Audio Output setting is grayed out or disabled, go to "Properties For" tab in Audio MIDI Setup, and select "Built in Output".

I hope this helps

Region codes required for DVD's from England.

Hi its better to make your DVD region free, please follow these steps:The internet has made it easier to purchase obscure foreign movies on DVD that aren't sold in this country. DVD's have region codes so they will only play on certain DVD players. For instance, US DVD's are region 1 while Europe and Japan are region 2. The only way you can play a foreign DVD then is to purchase a region free DVD player or make your DVD player region free.

  • Get a DVD player. If you purchases a DVD player, make sure you purchase a DVD player that people have had success in converting to region free. If you already own a player, you will need to note down the make and model of your player.Step 2
  • Look up the DVD hack for your player. There are several sites that feature DVD hacks. Two popular sites are DVD Exploder and Video Help. Simply look up the make and model of your DVD player and check to see if there is a hack.

My go video dvr4400 does not play homemade dvd's

Usually it isn't the speed of the homemade DVD but the type. DVDs come in four different formats:

    DVD+R
    DVD-R
    DVD+RW
    DVD-RW

Some DVD players will play all formats and some don't. Your manual should tell you. Do you know what formats are available for playback on your Go video?
