Free drivers it does not scan

What drivers are we trying to download? It is safe that we download the drivers from there official websites.

These "free scan" programs are usually free to a certain extent...
"Wow! Now I'll be getting my drivers back! This free "Get-Back-Your-Drivers-Now" program says so."
So I download the scan, it finds a lot of problems and suggests that if you want to fix them, you pay from now on.
Well, why not? (If the computer is your own and not the one you're trying to fix at work). You pay and install.
The program downloads the drivers.
Installing them however, can be tricky. Some of them just won't install. I've experienced that.
So, again out of the experience, it may be a good solution to go to the support site (like Acer Support, for instance), and download the missing/damaged/other problematic drivers from there.

please go to the manufactures web site for the driver or go to www.radarsync.com and use this totally free driver update utility
this will scan and give you a list of drivers that need to be updated and will update them for free. just rember to use the free section when you scan. ok i hope that this is very helpfull for you

I would not even waste my time with that. If you don't have any problems with running software or games, then I wouldn't even update the drivers. Driver scanners just scan for free but cost money to have them update. How do you know your drivers are out of date? They could be years old but still be the latest driver. Also, if you want to see if there is more current driver then yours, just go onto Compaq's website and check with your laptops model number.
