Printer C760 Hi, I am getting an error on my C760 that says 103 Service IPU error. What's the problem?

This error normally requires a service call. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a stray static discharge in the vicinity of the printer or a power fluctuation, can cause a false 103 ITU error message to appear. If possible, connect the printer's power cord directly into a grounded wall outlet. In rare instances, a surge protector or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can generate false error messages.

It is caused by Resetting / Memory Clear.

The Ricoh copier error code SC322 or 322 is a laser synchronization problem.

This error code can mean:
Bad LDB
Bad IPU Board
Bad Controller Board
Bad Detector Board
Check the wires between I/F and Detector.

After the polygon motor reaches standard rotation speed and the LD unit fires for 400 ms, the laser synchronization detector does not get a signal.
• wires between detector and I/F disconnected or bad
• Detector is installed incorrectly
• Detector board is bad
• IPU board bad

To reset this error try the code:
"Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch.

If the problem persists you may need to contact a local service technician to take a look at your copier.

103 service ITU ERROR
lexmark basically has said that if this error doesnt clear by powering off the machine and powering it back on again then it will need to have a service call. this error means there is a problem with the itu belt assembly.below is what they say. the steps were to pwoer it off and back on again using a grounded wall socket

This error normally requires a service call. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a stray static discharge in the vicinity of the printer or a power fluctuation, can cause a false 103 ITU error message to appear. In these cases, the error is only temporary and can be easily resolved without service. Follow the steps in the table.
Step Action 1
Power the printer off, wait ten seconds, and then power the printer back on.

Yes: Continue to step 2
No: Print a test page. If the page prints, the printer is functioning correctly. 2
If possible, connect the printer's power cord directly into a grounded wall outlet. In rare instances, a surge protector or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can generate false error messages.

Lexmark c760 printer stopped printing, no lights no power HELP
if you have no lights on the display, the possibility of a bad power supply is good, bring it to any of the computer store with a service or a computer repair shop, have them check it. if you have voltmeter, test the output from the low voltage transformer that goes into the printer against the rating on the transformer.

IPU Connection Error
Are you sure the new location is a working port on the system? IPU suggests a VoIP phone, not a DKT2010. Are you sure you have the right phone? You cannot swap an IP phone with a DKT phone.
