I got a Wii 2 weeks ago and it's been working fine. When I play Wii games it works great but, when I play Game Cube games it shuts off about 5 to 10 min into the game And then it shows a no signal up on the screen. Please help. At first we thought it was the disc but, I went to the store ad traded for a new one and it did the same thing. Will I have to replace it?
It sounds like there is something wrong with the wii that may not be an easy fix, it could be that some games do not work well with the wii, in that case try another gc game and if it still happens that is not the issue, the no signal msg is from the tv and has nothing to do with the wii, if you are not able to play any gc games, as dumb as it sounds, call nintendos support line, its a free number or go online and they will probably tell you to call them in the end of the trouble shooting guide, they actually have amazing support for their products, I purchased a wii on ebay and thought i had a bad power supply, they sent a new one for free, wasnt the problem but still if it needs replaced they most likely will replace it and not charge you anyhting , since the issue is with the console you may incur some charge or be required to prove it was purchased new or something like that but an issue like this is not easily solved by anyone without the training to do so.

Your wii may require updates to the latest software if this dos'nt work you should try and return it to get your money back and go to a different store.

Are you using the default cable that came with the wii to connect it up to your TV. i have a smililar problem, Virtual Console games dont work on my console and i get the "no signal" message on my tv. but this was only after, i started using a madcatz component cable. before that i used the default cable and they worked fine.
