How to print smaller coupons.

I tried to print coupons from a walgreens flier, and they print double the normal size. How do I compensate? My model is HPpsc2175 all in one printer-scanner. Thanks, Dennis

I am answering this assuming your printer is attatched to a pc and not a standalone unit. You need to define what size you want your prints to be in the printer settings or properties menu window of your pc itself. Click on your printer icon and go to properties, or it should open up this window when you first go to print a job. Know your required size and specify it to the program you are in, ie i assume because you are printing a flier, you have scanned it first, so once it is scanned, open up the image in windows viewer, and tell it what size you want it to print out. Auto printing buttons on a printer are set to manufacturers default settings to a standard size.

How can i overprint an 21.5 x 14 centimeters flier with my hp c4400? There is no way to configure the exact paper size and the size is not standard but i need to add an iformation to the flier.

Actually, we set the print size on the document using DTP application like Adobe Pagemaker, Microsoft word, Adobe Illustrator, etc...etc.. but if you've made the changes in the document and want to change the paper size from the printer's settings, you can try this. On the printing preferences, click the drop-down list of the paper size and select "custom", a new dialog box will open up, give a name to your custom size and select the size from the available lists. You can refer to the given pictures below:

and when the "custom" dialog box pops up:

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Trying to enlarge print

before you print, select all the text and resize it to a higher number (say from 12 point to 14 point) then print, (but dont save). that may help. The problem is, your resolution is larger than the actual size of the item, so you are getting a 'magnified' look at the screen. So anything normal on screen will be smaller when printed.

Pages that print have characters and small text instead of normal size text???

The printer has the wrong driver.
In the printer control panel delete your printer.
Go to the printer's manufactures website.
Select Support or Drivers and choose your model.
Download the driver and run it.
You may have to install it from the control panel
