Memory sick error

Is this information not contained in the camera manual ?

The memory stick is probably dead. The most common cause for this is ESD (Electro Static Discharge) to test, use a USB card reader to look at it on your computer. if the computer sees it, try formatting the card.

You didn't give me a make or model of your camera but, all digital cameras from a pocket point and shooter to a pro DSLR requires the memory card to be formatted or some call it initialized. The "delete" button on these cameras is a disaster waiting to happen and just dirties up the meory card to the point it won't work. What I'm going to suggest is you look in the manual or go into your "set up" menus and scroll through the setting until you find format. Follow the screen instructions and format your memory card. That should solve your problem. Going forward delete pictures only when you need the space and format always after downloading to the computer. Never format your camera memory card in the computer the programing between the camera and computer are not compatible.

you can use the adapter for the Memory sick to connect it to a computer or use a USB cord to have access to your memory sick.

After it is connected go to "my computer" and open the memory stick.

you will see a bunch of folders. Drop any/all pics in the Pictures folder and the PSP will know where to find them.

It depends what type of memory card you are referring to.

USB memory will plug into the USB ports on the left side of the laptop.

If you are using a Memory Sick, Memory Stick Pro, Mini Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, RS_MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital (SD), or xD-Picture card they will go into the memory card reader on the left side of the laptop about 2 inches from the front of the machine. ** NOTE: this is the bottom slot.

If you are using a Type 54 ExpressCard it will also go in on the lfetside but this slot will be above the Memory card reader slot mentioned above.

Try loading the songs on to the memory card while its not in the phone then, put the card back in

nothing can be donw with s3310.. there is no option to save the transfered files directly to memory card.. it is setup to go to phone memory directly, you have to then move from phone to memory card.
sick it is... we cant transfer large files.
but u can use card reader or usb cable to download directly to memory card. other than this.. mobile s good

Insert your ( memory card , flash disk , cellphone , .... ) into your computer.

Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

check with lattest virus remover, if it found some virus then it will format, otherwise get a new one.

Before becoming mad: -Take out the memory card from the camera and try it in another camera used this type of memory card. - Try to download your memory card via a memory card reader to a PC or another relevant device (Printer etc) Good luck!
