I accidentaly sinc music to my sansa e250 from windows media player and it wont come off!!!
When i hooked my sansa e250 to my friends computer and accidently sinced music to it and i can't find it in my music file to delete. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!
Mp3 files can be loaded using either WMP or Windows file manager (Explorer) but a different USB setting is required by each. WMP uses the MTP setting while Explorer uses MSC. If you used the wrong setting this may have caused your problem. Also for some reason MP3 files loaded using a file manager will not appear when trying to view them using WMP.
To solve the issue I used the MSC setting to view all of my MP3's using file manager. I then deleted the ones I had recently added, changed the setting back to MTP and reloaded them using WMP. Worked like a charm. Hope that helps.

To put music on your Sansa e250 you will do this:
Download Windows Media Player 9 or 10 to your computer.
I would use Media Player 10 as it is the newer player.
After you download Media Player 9 or 10 open it up on your computer, and then hook up your mp3 player, it should be recognized by Media Player and then you can transfer the songs to it.
You need to put the music cd in your computer cd player and download the songs to Media Player using Windows Media Player 9 or 10.
I have also included a website where you can download the user manual, it will say e200, but the instructions are also for the e250.
Good Luck, I hope this helps.

If you have a computer or know a friend with one then you can connect to a computer. If you are using the Windows operating system open Windows Media Player. In the library you should see your MP3 player and can click on it and it will show all of your music that you can edit any way you want.
If you are using a USB connection you canjust click on the Sync tab and the edit your music.
The folder option won't work particularly well - use Windows Media Player instead. If you continue to have problems:
Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!
