Frigidaire Tumble Action Washer won't move to the next cycle
Hello, looking for some help. My washer won't seem to move from the wash cycle to the next cycle. The lights on the front tell me that it's rinsing and spinning but the machine just keeps on washing. It has water and soap in it but it won't empty. The container on the front that has the fabric softener in it is also still full. I can't find anything that will help me, just a repair man that wants lots of money. Does anyone have any experience with this that could give me any suggestions before I pay to have someone look at it? Thanks!
Wow....you're amazing, we took the pump out and it was blocked by a toonie. Everything is working great and you just saved me about $300!!!! I have a Frigidaire front load washer Mdl # FTF2140ES1. The wash cycle seems to be fine... but when it comes to the rinse and spin cycle, it does nothing. No water comes out on this cycle. The lights for each function light up and keep blinking on and off. I have a Frigidaire front load washer Mdl # FTF2140ES1. Re:
Your pump is blocked or faulty a way to check is pull your washer out put your outlet hose to the ground placed either in a bucket or out the door if water comes out pump is faulty if it doesnt than its blocked were your outlet pipe goes into back panel is were your pump is make sure washer is switched off undo tip up undo clamp water will come floding out better of doing this outside if it comes out of pump than your pipe is blocked
The back of a watch came off and now there is a clanking noise when the machine is running .I think it is in the pump .How do I
remove the front of the pump to get it out?

This means that the child lock (control lock) feature is active. There will be a button (or pair of buttons) depending on the model that you need to press and hold to toggle off the feature. If it is a single button, there will be a tiny padlock icon on the button. If you need to press and hold two buttons, the padlock symbol will be in a line indicating both buttons.
A likely combination is the Select and Option buttons. These should be held together for 10+ seconds. (This is the combination for some Affinity washers.)
If this doesn't work and you can't see a lock icon, please add a comment with the model number of your washer. I'll be glad to check what the combination is for your washer. The model number is usually on a plaque on the rim of the door for front loading washers or at the back at the top of the drum for a top loading washer.
I hope this helps.

Had the same problem and fixed with ease. The problem is with the door lock. There is a secondary locking mechanism that kicks in for the final spin due to the high speed. When the secondary lock goes bad the washer will not do the final spin. The replacement part is under $40 @ AppliancePartsPros.com .
if you look in the internet you can download info and instruction free
by giving the right model
anyway ther are green cycke temperature cycles and others the temperature byt the lightest will go for about ann half hour and hottest to an hour and hour and half
try with first cycle and then all others if not sure with a rag that you do not need
ther can be cool cycles also
most machine are the same
try and go to a shop and ask as you want to buy one and if on auction as ebay ask other copy of manuals
These are the stabilising blocks. They are there to stop the knocking and noise. You should be able to buy them. Try the manufacturer or go on Yahoo or Google search for wash machine spares. Hope this helps.
