This suggests the select all command is stuck on Right click the mouse against each icon and the screen overall and check the individual settings

It is difficult because I cant see what is going on on your screen
If all else works- don't worry about it.

  • Anonymous Aug 18, 2007

This is exactly what I mean 'Select All'
    normally gives this result.
    Normally
If you hold the left mouse button down and drag a frame round the icons you have them highlighted as there
Then a simple right click releases them back to normal.
    Play around with that
Meanwhile I Will enquire else where.

One of my contacts suggests it's something to do with drop shadows I think.

Control Panel, System, Advanced, Performance Settings, Visual Effects tab. There's an option at the bottom.

Take a look around that area

    Try this.
Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System restore- pick a date/time before this problem started.
If it does not clear - come back I'll get you to try another thing.

  • Anonymous Aug 28, 2007

well if it really bugs you - reformat and reload
but that is extreme to say the least - just live with it

E30so75fps loose handle

Amanda,
You need to carefully try to remove the plastic frame around the outside edge of the inside of the door and hopefully that should expose the screws that you need to tighten for the handle. I say carefully because that frame can be very expensive to replace if you break it. It is currently listing on Sears site for $95!

Toshiba Tecra - model PTA40U-14001D Problem:

Right click on your desktop, and from the selections that pop up, select "view". That should bring up a secondary list. What you need to do is make sure that there is a checkmark next to "Show Desktop Icons". Also make sure your taskbar is not being "Auto-hid". Bring your cursor as far down as it will go toward the bottom of the screen and see if a "new" taskbar raises up-it means that "auto-hide the taskbar" has been selected. (These are signs that someone has pulled a prank on you and you are looking at a screenshot on your desktop.)

Hope this helps.

I have got p4 pc deskop evo d310v computer which has no sound,

try doing a microsoft update in custom mode and see if any hardware drivers are found, you may get lucky and it will do it for you, otherwise you need to find out what kind of sound card you have and then go to the manufacturers webpage and download their drivers and install them.

Can not add pictures to Kodak

To get a good start, you reformat the frame's internal memory by following the steps below: 1. Click on the "Macintosh HD" icon. 2. Click on "Applications". 3. Click on "Utilities". 4. Click on "Disk Utility". 5. "Kodak" drive should be in the list showing a white drive icon 6. Click that icon and select “Erase”. 7. Select the “MS-DOS file system (FAT16)” option and give it a volume name e.g. "Kodak". The format will begin when you click the “Erase” button below. 8. Try to copy the files to the re-formatted internal memory of the frame. 1. Forget about using any software. Once you connected your frame onto your Macintosh, it will appear as a white drive icon on the desktop. You can copy pictures “drag and drop” from iPhoto to the frame. Just make sure that the pictures you will be copying are in JPEG or EXIF format.
