Question about Epson Aculaser C1100 Printer
This could one of a few fairly major problems. The easiest way to track down the fault is start by replacing the consumables - make sure you install them in the correct positions - it is possible on the C1100 to put them in the wrong places!! Change the toners first. Most importantly the magenta and yellow. Print several pages. Use MS Paint or similar to create a page with all four component colours on (cyan, magenta, yellow and black)in large blocks (see image below) and print them full page. Now look at the print and see if any one colour is missing or has reduced density. If you have a spare PCU you should but that in next. Let me know what the print outs look like and we will progress to the next step.

Print a full page version similar to this image using MS Paint or similar.
How did the colour blocks look when printed. If you have done the usual checks then it sounds like you need a DEV unit replaced or the main board has gone.
If the machine is in warranty, get Epson out to it. If not then I'm affraid the cheapest option is to bin it and get a replacement printer. A main board or dev unit fitted onsite by an Epson engineer will likely cost more than two thirds the price of a new printer. You could try to get a dev unit from a supplier in your locality and fit it yourself. This would save a bundle
You would need a service manual http://www.TheServiceManualShop.com) and about 45 minutes time plus 15 minutes to clean your hands after!
