Shut off after 5 secs

After starting my pc it automatically shuts down after 5 secs.

One of a few things, if the cmos barttery is totally flat then sometimes because the bios memory has failed it can cause a shutdown, but then normally automatically reeboots in a cycle. The other is that the processor is the brains that takes over after the cmos post check, so the CPU may be faulty, or simply that the motherboard is not supplying enough power to run the processor, either due to the motherboard being faulty, or a faulty power supply unit, which powers the motherboard, so unfortunately it is a process of illimination.

Computer will not start

Remove the battery and adapter. Press power button for 30 sec. Then connect the adapter. Press power button. When pc started, go to

control panel---->power options--->change plan setting--->

Turn off the display-never
Put the computer to sleep-never
control panel---->power options--->change plan setting--->advanced power setting
-set hard disk "turn off hard disk after" to never
-set Sleep "Sleep after" to never
-set hybrid sleep setting to off
-set hibernate after setting to never
Restart pc

At times pc wont turn off with mouse windows shuts down but computer will turn off and on again immed

Try draining the power of the computer first. completely shut it down by pressing poweer button for like 5-7 sec. then unplug power supply from the outlet. then press and hold power button for another 15-20 sec. After that, plug back in the power cord, and turn computer on normally.

I have a sharp microwave mod.#r-1870 you can set it for 5 mins.it will run 59 sec.then shut down you start it right back and it will run 59 sec. and shut down again.

i think there are some problem occured with the autocut n timer....its a genuine prob go to any electrician...thnx
