Sounds like a glitch in the "flash" program. Visit your local wireless providers store to see if they will "update the flash" for you. If they won't, then contact Motorola directly. They are very good about warranty and will most likely overnight you a replacement.

Could be the immobiliser. The ignition key usually contains a transponder that should be coded to match the security code in the car's memory.
Replacing the key usually means using dedicated equipment to code the new key. I suggest you take advice from the dealer or a local auto locksmith.
Tap the lock cylinder with the handle end of a league screwdriver with the key removed. You can be faily agressive when you do this. Then insert the key and try to turn. Try this several times. If it finally does turn replace the lock cylinder immediately. The key needs to be in the run position in order for the lock cylinder to come out. If you can't get it to turn the lock cylinder will need to be drilled out.
The steering wheel was turned when the key was removed. So when you try to turn on the key, turn the wheel one way and the other way to release the pressure on the key. The key should turn ok.
Hope this helps.
I have the same phone. It does this to me all the time. I suspect that it is just a general problem. I end up taking the battery out for a few minutes and then restarting the phone. Usually after that it's fine again. This doesn't cure the problem forever, meaning that it will happen again, but next time just quickly remove the battery and restart. Hope this helps.

Did the key pad froze before you took the battery off? If so, it mean the keypad is damaged. If you have insurance, you may call customer service and have it replaced for a new one.
If it frozed after you shoot it off, you might call customer service from another phone and they might help you to unlock your phone.
