I just recently picked up a new psp version 3.4. on my previous psp, i was able to connect it via usb cable to my computer and drag pictures or songs from my desktop to folders within the psp. Now with this updated version, i'm not able to do so as before. is there something different i must do?
Thanks.
First return the psp to its originial version e.g. 1.6 then upgrade to the next highest version. Check that you are able to connect to your psp via a usb cable each time. You should do this until you reach your desired version ( 3.4). If the problem occurs only on one particular version download it from a different and trusted source to ensure it is not corrupted.

1. CONNECT YOUR PSP TO PC The
PSP can function as a USB Memory Stick Duo reader. Using this
functionality, you can copy pictures, audio, and other content to and
from your Memory Stick Duo. To access the Memory Stick Duo in your PSP
from your PC, you'll need a USB cable that has a "Mini-B" connector
(common for digital cameras) and a "Standard-A" connector (common for
printers, etc). Plug the Mini-B side into the top of your PSP and the
Standard-A side into your PC. From the PSP software, navigate to the
top of the settings list and select "USB Connection." Your PC
(Windows/Mac/Linux) should detect a new "Removable Disk Drive" that you
can then access.
2. TRANSFER SAVE GAME TO "SAVEDATA" FOLDER Just
copy the folder you have just extracted, and paste it into the PSP's
"SAVEDATA" folder. But, BEWARE!, to any folder overwrite warnings!
Because the PSP save game folders use the same names for the same
games, copying folders into these locations could lead to lost data.
For this reason, we recommend that you backup your old save games
before overwriting them. For Example, I would simply rename a folder
like "ULPS0004" to "ULPS0004_backup."
3. EXIT USB MODE Because
your PSP has been in USB Mode throughout this process, just push X to
exit. Then you can safely disconnect your PSP from your PC.
download the games here as many as you can for free

Connect your PSP to your computer via the usb cable with the current memory stick in and transfer your photos to your PC. Once complete, replace the old stick with the new one that you wish to put the photos on and transfer those files back from your PC to you PSP. Hope this helps.
Hi,
If you wish do transfer your pictures from a Android phone you can do it:
Via USB, connecting you device cable to a computer should trigger the computer to recognize a new USB device. Some cases you might need to indicate on the phone you wish to establish a USB connection. This will pop-up on the phone screen when you connect the USB cable. After that navigate to the your default folder for the pictures. Normally on the sdcard > /mnt/sdcard/DCIM
Via Bluetooth, by browsing to the picture on your phone, select the picture and send > Bluetooth. This menus may vary depending on the ROM (DROID version) you use.
You can install a software such as ASTRO MANAGER, which you can download from the market (Android application store) for free and this will allow you to browse and find out where your files are on your phone.
Via FTP, using the previous application or any other FTP server you can get from the Market you can send them over the internet (3G or Wireless) to any computer.
Hook up your Sony PSP to your computer via a USB cable. Turn on the PSP and put it in "USB CONNECT" mode (it should display the words "USB CONNECT" on the PSP display during the entire time you're transferring files, and plug it in if you don't have a fully charged battery).
connect your psp to your pc with your usb cable then in the options of your psp connectby pressing usb. then in my computer on your pc there should be a new drive. in that drive there is a folder for pictures. just put them in there. If its not the transfer thats the problem and its just certain pictures it might be the format i think psp supports .jpeg, .jpg, .jfif, .jpe, .png, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .bmp, and .dib pictures
