First, thank you for trying to help me :) The first thing that happened was a strage noise while filming, I stoppped and tried to replay what I recorded and it didn't do it,(I could hear like if something was sliding inside) then it began to reject the cassette, everytime I put the cassette in I got an alert message "remove cassette" and immediately ejected by itself (I assume this is a kind of protection) so I am not forcing anything. I took it to a camera store and the guy told me to try cleanning the head(but I cannot find a head cleaner for mini DV) so I used Duster (compressor gas) but it didn't work. I want to mention I was in the beach last week, but as far as I am concerned the camera didn't get any sand, but he said "just in case". As you can see I am totally confused and concerned and I have many cassettes that need to be transfered and now we cannot even see them.
Your help is most appreciated.

Re: Camcorder Canon ZR 200
First if you have a very bad tape (miniDV) (hard to turn by your hand) the camera will automatically eject coz it cant load the tape to it. it is not a head problem. It seems that you have a mechanical loading issue here. But try to put new miniDV tape. ANd post here what happen.
Dont use compress gas to clean it you might put new problem. Please use only the head cleaner tape (MiniDV) if you want to clean the head.
Hope this may help you

Please charge your battery ( with camcoder Off) for at least 1 hour. Then unplug your charger and turn On your camcoder. If it can not turn on, it is apparently you have flat battery and need replacement.
yes, I found the manual downloads on Canon's webpage. I wish I could figure out how to transfer my tape videos to a computer. I bought the $50,00 DV-1394 cord and nothing happens--computer doesn't recognize the camera.
If you put a digital card into the camcorder then you can take it out and put into your computer, printer or regular camera. Windows should have a program though that will let you transfer the pictures from the camcorder to your computer.
