Sometimes , not in each game my cpu seem to lag. when the ball it a switch , sometime that can take 3 to 5 sec before i have a sound reaction and a points reaction and an image reacion on the DMD. And sometimes during the game the DMD image disapear, and i cannot see my points but the sound still work. and as soon as enter a video mode, the image come back .And when the video mode is over, the DMD image disapear again and the image come back again at the end of the ball ,and on the next ball everything is alright. so , can somebody help me with this weird problem. and before you asking, yes my eprom is upgraded to the latest version. thanks. ( and sorry for my bad english , but i used to speek french)
You're power supply isn't putting out the voltage it should. look inside the lower cabinet under the table (there's a lever inside the coin door that unlocks the front plate so you can slide the glass out and lift up the table). there should be a silver box towards the back on one side. look on the side of that box for a potentiometer (small silver knob) that adjusts the output voltage. turn it slightly clockwise to increase. if you have a voltmeter, put the black probe in the power supply molex plug (white plug with multicolored wires) in any black wire and the red probe in the red or yellow wires. the red should be 5.2 volts dc and the yellow should be under 13 volts dc. be careful, though. much of the game takes dc voltage, but the flippers take 120 volts ac (just like the outlet).
Have you tried pulling batteries with game powered down to clear cmos/
Quite offten this will clear up strange problems

pinball machine dont have video card , and no need of more memory, but somebody talk about a "clock chip" . I am very happy that you want to help me , but if you never have repair or even see a pinball machine computer looks like , i think you will be not able to help me. thanks.
ok i have misunderstood... sounded like you were talking about a computer type game... it does have a dedicated computer inside to control the functions of the game. try unplugging the game for about a half hour to reset it.
you need more memory... and a video card update.... at the least check to see if there is an update for the video accelerator. what is the make and model of that computer... if it's homebuilt... what is the model of the motherboard and if you have a video card... the model number for it
