Open Outlook Express go to File then Export and proceed to what you want to export. Follow the instructions from there. You will need a flash drive or CD to save the files and move them. Next go to Windows Mail, go to File then "Import". Follow the instructions and you should be good!
There are few tools to have. A usb cord, your PC has Bluetooth and pair with you N51 via bluetooth. Have the free software, "Nokia PC Suite". Download it from www.nokiausa.com/PCsuite. It's a free download. Once downloaded, restart your computer. (without the phone connected) Connect. It'll give you easy step by step instructions to transfer contacts to the computer. Plus, other multimedia you may have on your device. Very handy!! Then, just use Active Sync or any software you got with your HTC Touch HD. It can sync you contacts from Outlook onto the new phone. This is nice, in case your phone would crash, break, or the worse stolen. Your contacts are all backed up on the PC. Always take a look at www.htcwiki.com for the best tips & tricks for your HTC device and software updates. A lot of times they will even post known issues and work arounds.
I try this sms transfer days ago. It could save the sms to pc and restore back to your cell phone. It get the job done well. But it just support the phone running on Windows Mobile System. Here is the user guideline of the software. http://www.godswmobile.com/transfer-sms-from-windows-mobile-phone-to-pc.html
Remember to change (HotSync, Custom) settings before you perform your sync or else you will get duplicate records as I did. Good luck.

Switching between Outlook and Palm Desktop synchronization
Depending on your device, you might be synchronizing with Outlook using the Palm™ Outlook Conduits, or PocketMirror conduits from Chapura (find out which). Both of these types of conduits are installed and activated when you run the CD-ROM that came with your device.
What do you want to learn about?

* Switching synchronization: PocketMirror Conduits
* Synchronizing partially with Palm Desktop, partially with Outlook

* Macintosh information

Switching synchronization: Palm Outlook Conduits
These instructions apply to the Palm Outlook Conduits that are included with handhelds released after late 2003. The Palm Desktop installer determines which conduits are activated during the installation process.
If you want to switch synchronization from Palm Desktop to Outlook, or vice versa, you'll need the original CD-ROM that came with your handheld.
1. Insert the CD-ROM into your computer. A window should open, containing the contents of the CD-ROM.
2. From the Discover Your Handheld screen, select "Install Microsoft Outlook Conduits" or "Change synchronization method" (depending on which device you have)
3. Follow the instructions for switching synchroniztion from or to Palm Desktop or Outlook.
4. See our note about data transfer
Remember: Some applications will continue to synchronize with Palm Desktop. Use Palm Desktop to manage applications such as Photos and VoiceMemo
I just bought the Zire 72s and I was able to synch the 2003 Outlook calendar but not the contacts.
I went into the palome home page and clicked on the support downloads tab on the left.
Click on the Zire section and enter the model
