If you can get into the main menu go to load factory default and reboot, This will reload factory settings and this operation will erase all unwanted settings and load back to factory default. so you can load your own settings and take back control of your tv.
Phillips purchases the main circuit board from Samsung, and it has a problem with capacitors failing. The failed capacitors can be easily identified as the top will no longer be flat, but will have bulged up.
If you have a local TV repair shop they can help you.
It seems this is a self diagnostic function. the official sony codes are as follows
Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias),
the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to
the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check
video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also
check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK
blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
- No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking
self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the
jungle IC, IC206.
It sounds like you have a video input problem. Have you unhooked all inputs from the TV and tried to power it back on by itself? Hope this helps
I had the same problem and fixed with a great online tutorial. Just replace 3 capacitors available at Radioshack onthe the board. 2662, 2663, 2664 1 is a 1000uf the others are 100uf. Max Volts need to be over 25. It worked great, check http://dynamicorange.com/2008/06/25/fixing-a-plasma-tv/

My one take too long to turn on, relay/green light on and off for hours before it can start, I use a hair dryer to heat it up everytime, aim at the center from top, then it turn on very faster, no need to service
